ASTILLERO PUERTO DE BALBOA (ASTIBAL) is a shipyard located in the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal with the capacity to drydock Panamax type vessels. The shipyard was built more than 100 years ago to provide repairs and maintenance services to vessels passing through the Panama Canal.
In addition to ASTIBAL, the group, which has more than 30 years of experience in the ship repair industry, manages ASTICAN and ASTANDER shipyards located in the Canary Islands and bay of Biscay respectively. Our shipyards are specialists in all kind of repairs, maintenance and conversion projects, and work under the most demanding quality standards in the sector.

At the moment we are rehabilitating and upgrading the shipyard to be able to provide the levels of safety, effectiveness, quality and professionalism expected by our clients.
