In 2006, Talleres Navales del Golfo became a member of Hutchinson Ports, main port investor, developer and operator in the world, event that returned the great shipyard in the Golf of Mexico to its Alma Mater regarding service providing in the maritime sector
Hutchison Ports TNG offers integral fabrication and ship repair services in the Gulf of Mexico. The shipyard is based in the Port of Veracruz and situated within close proximity to offshore oil and gas facilities, busy trade lanes as well as to the most important routes of communication that interconnect South East USA, the Caribbean and Mexico. TNG through its professional staff, experience, infrastructure and state-of-the-art equipment provides a plethora of top quality services, including: Ship Repair, Offshore structures fabrication and Conversions.
The TNG yard has the capacity to build and repair ships up to 80,000 deadweight tons. With a total work area of 344,000 m (85 acres), the yard offers a full range of ship repair services which includes conversion, upgrades, life extensions, maintenance and repair.
